Orthopaedic insoles

Painful feet, knees and back problems can be remedied and prevented by wearing good orthopaedic insoles.

Indeed, insoles provide support to the joints, ligaments and capsules of the foot, leading to improved posture and relief of symptoms.

The purpose of insoles can vary, from supporting and relieving to correcting, depending on your individual situation.

Each insole is custom-made for your feet, so you can be sure you will get the best possible care. We aim to deliver your insoles within just 4 working days. Depending on your needs and preferences, insoles can be made of different materials.

Various options and materials are available for insoles including:

  • cork insoles
  • leather insoles
  • sports insoles
  • insoles adapted to your profession
  • hiking insoles
  • children's insoles
  • finer insoles for women

Foamprint

How can you obtain orthopaedic insoles?

Sizing is done using a foam impression. After a clinical examination, the most suitable type of insole is determined. Two manufacturing methods are available:

  • Classic method: Classic insoles are manufactured and assembled manually. Although this is a less common production method, it is still an option.
  • Milling: This method offers faster production of insoles. After making a foam impression, these are scanned, and any digital corrections are applied. The insoles are then milled, allowing different materials to be easily incorporated. This is ideal when the insoles need to meet multiple needs.

If you already have insoles but are still experiencing the same problems or persistent symptoms, a gait analysis may be necessary. You will then walk over a pressure plate, giving us more insight into the load on your feet while walking. By comparing this data with and without insoles, we can make the necessary adjustments to your insoles.

If you would like a gait analysis, please make an appointment with one of our experts.

Reimbursement of insoles (Belgium)

With us, you pay a flat fee, including consultations, guarantee and service. The price of orthopaedic insoles is 145 euros, part of which is reimbursed by the health insurance fund. Only custom-made orthopaedic insoles prescribed by a specialist are eligible for reimbursement by the health insurance fund. The frequency of renewal varies according to age. Up to the age of 18, you are entitled to partial reimbursement from the health insurance fund every year. From 18 years onwards, this is every 2 years.

For a second pair of orthotics ordered within 3 months of your first pair, we offer a discount. Your second pair can be offered at a reduced price of 95 euros, without a prescription and therefore also without reimbursement.
